M&M's World @ Genting Highlands

I was on a day working trip to Genting Highlands with my Interior Designer (ID), the Group Marketing Manager and her Mars principal Regional Manager. We were up there to see the newly renovated M&M's World boutique at The First World Plaza on T2. I actually haven't been to Genting for quite sometime and since my ID is driving up, I conveniently jumped into the car.

The new boutique is based on the M&M's world theme - colourful, fun and filled with not only M&M's chocolates but also their merchandises from US. These collectibles include their dispensers, blankets (ooh.. can warm yourself up with a M&M's), pillow, mugs, bags and also plush toys! They are all indeed a colourful array of products.

After visiting the new boutique, we went upstairs (T2a) and inspect our other chocolate shop which I get to see my new promoter. Sadly, the other promoter is leaving soon...

The principal was so nice to enlighten me with the history of M&M's. Do you know that M&M's stands for Mars & Murrie. Forrest E. Mars Sr was the founder and Murrie has 20% of the stake in the company initially when the company first started. After that, Mars fully bought over the 20% from Murrie. You can read the history here.

M&M's Mugs, Blanket & Pillows...

The boutique has been given a very good uplift image from the previous shop. The famous "Melt in your mouth and not on your hands" chocolate merchandisers are now available in Genting Highlands and the principal has been very happy about it. One thing though, these items can be quite a pricey possession. But it still saved you money from flying all the way to US to get them!

Meet Red, my new son! I'm taking him home!
