I have a ritual whenever I'm overseas. My obligatory ritual includes tasting McDonalds in every city I stepped into just to see what other McDonalds in the world offer that would be different from the Malaysian McDonalds. McDonalds in Australia is quite special because they have a special offering which is McCafé, a cafe joint inside the fast food outlet.
There is no doubt how strong the coffee culture is in Australia! Just like us, you can find rice in McDonalds!
Don't you think it's nice that while the kids have their coke and fries, the adult can have a good cuppa (not those instant coffee from coffee machine), all under the same roof! We should have our very own Téh Tarîk counter in McDonalds Malaysia!

The Menu for drinks under McCafé is quite extensive from Iced Chocolate, Mochas, Frappes, Smoothies and the obligatory lattes and coffees like capuccino, espresso and macchiato. The prices range from AUD$3.25 for small to $5.45. At the same time, they do serve cakes and pastries for light bite.
