News...

I was petrified by the news that Air France have gone missing into the Atlantic Ocean. The jet that carries 228 people from Rio de Janeiro and expected to land at Charles de Gaulle is believed to have crashed into the ocean. It's not a really old plane since it's just a 4-year-old Airbus 330. I think the chances of finding the survivors is really low and probably none will survive such a crash.

As if we didn't have enough crisis that our country has decided to impose strict laws on the selling of alcohol. First, it was the cigarettes which carries the compulsory pictorial health warnings and now the talks of banning the sale of alcohol at convenience stores and etc. Probably as a marketing gimmick for tobacco, they should encourage people to collect all 6 pictorials on the cigarette box and win a prize! Lol...

In Star Metro, it was said that the local authorities in Shah Alam was trying to ban the sales of alcohol at the convenience stores to avoid muslim customers or even underaged kids in obtaining them.

I think it's crap. If they want to drink alcohol, they will have their ways. What happened to our freedom? I can understand the hazardous effect of second hand smoke but alcohol?!! I don't feel anything if someone next to me is drinking or would my health be jeopardized when someone pop a can of beer. Sigh...

I hope they will be no blanket ban on the sale of alcohol. If not life is really a bummer without some occassional Vitamin A (for Alcohol). Lol...
