I was at KLIA the whole day today starting from morning 11am with an appointment with the buyer of Eraman, then an appointment with the Golden Lounge manager together with my designer and then lunch with the Nestle duty-free principal and lastly my promoter in the Satellite shop. I had a few important assignments to fulfill this year or my head will be on the chopping board next. Dato has been pestering and reminding me of my KPIs which I have not been doing and it's been playing in my head like a broken record so finally I've decided to put words into action today.
It's my first time stepping into the MAS Golden Lounge at the Satellite building in KLIA despite the number of times that I've been there. The lounge is located just above the Aerotrain. the number of times I have been to KLIA has been countless. I've been flying quite often last year, and then in the last 2 quarters, my job requires me to visit the airports on a quite frequent basis. Today was my virgin visit to the MAS Golden Lounge because the lounge is an exclusive waiting area for First Class & Business Class travelers on board MAS and also the Enrich Gold & Platinum members. Unfortunately, I am just a blue card member, not even a silver! haha...despite that I still get to visit the lounge due to the nature of the job.
Fidani is a partner of the Enrich programme where every purchase of Fidani chocolates can earn Enrich miles and right now, I had some important business to deal with MAS to ensure Fidani is in the heart and minds of the travelers especially rich ones...heheh Let's not dwell into my P&C project. The pictures are an eye opener for those who are curious how the lounge looks like. The big lounge is a self-service lounge for gold members. To be a gold members, you have to have a certain number of miles accumulated. There is also another exclusive lounge for platinum members, with waitress and waiter service. To be a platinum member, there is a certain of miles accumulated and you can only travel on Business & First Class seats! That's for the super rich and ministers. I'm serious!

It's really a nice place. Better than some boarding rooms with uncomfortable chairs. Perhaps after knowing the manager of Golden Lounge and also his boss, I should visit them more often to "bodek bodek" so that I can come here for more free Haagen Daz. He had invited me and my designers for lunch there and I had a bowl of seafood chowder and a tub of Macadamia Haagen Daz. It was so embarrassing cos I choke on the nuts and was teary eyed. Then the manager had to get me a glass of water to clear my throat. My virgin choke on Haagen Daz!
