Right after our meal at King Crab, my sisters, Greg and I had a second session at KTZ SS2 where they serve numerous types of desserts like traditional sugar water (tong shui) and ice shavings with fruits. Their famous dessert will be the Mango Loh, Kiwi Loh, Watermelon Loh and so on. Prices are not cheap though and that's why when we were there, Greg and I were crapping on our new joint venture - Tong shui shop! LOL.... Even though the drain over there stinks like hell, people still sit outside there by the roadsides and pavements as though this is the best dessert shop ever! I don't see the relevance. Why even care to eat there if you're offered a crappy place? You pay for the bill remember?!!
The "Tong yuen"
Seriously, if you ask me the joint is overrated and I don't get my 2 cents worth. The traditional desserts are too sweet! I know sugar is cheap but our health ain't cheap ya know! The tong yuen was expensive at RM1 per ball. I rather have fish ball and meat balls. At least the ingredients are more expensive than your flour and black sesame. Greg complained that the balls are too sweet and you should look at his expression when he bites it! Definitely not a very desirable place for me because it had been almost a year to two that I last stepped into this shop. How would you feel sipping your favourite drink with a stinking stench from the drain?
[Disclaimer: This is strictly my honest opinion and tastes vary with tastebuds. Please do not even waste your time trying to sue me because just like my sister, we ain't rich! Thnx]
