I'm back at this place twice in a week! Last Saturday, I introduced two of my friends to I'm Spicy as it's a cosy place to hang out. It's not difficult to get a parking space there on a weekend too because most of the people who parked there were going to Kanna Curry House! Lol...
Can't deny the fact that I'm a little alcoholic because I started drinking whisky at lunch time. My two other friends doesn't drink so I did look silly sipping single malt all by myself. However, this Swiss highlander whisky called Santis Malt is a very smooth drink. It's perfect for an afternoon sip. This bottle is given to me during Xmas 2 years ago and I opened it recently for my dad and uncle during CNY and then I decide to bring this bottle out to finish it. Of course we didn't finish the whisky during lunch but we emptied it during the dinner on the same day.

Santis Malt stands out amongst all the other single malt whisky partly due to its origin - coming from the Appenzell Highlands of Switzerland and it's produced in the Locher Brewery which have been producing beers and spirits for over a 100 years. This slightly spicy malt went through a careful ageing in oak beer casks to give it such a rich aroma and unique aroma with its dark gold liquid. The Säntis Malt is the only one in the world to be matured in 150-170 year old beer casks. It's incredibly smooth, silky and elegant. Though there isn't a vintage stated on the bottle, it's surprisingly an enjoyable whisky even for the whisky snobs like me.
This Mango salad has thin slices of mango that is a little sour, paired with crunchy long beans and peanuts. The sauce is quite spicy but I find it a challenge as it's always a must to eat something really spicy in a Thai restaurant. It's good to clear some nose block!
You know this is really good when you see it appearing twice on my blog in a week!
When I saw this plate of white rice, I asked if it's still Valentines Day?!! This is so cute! And my gf who couldn't finish a plate of rice gave half of her heart to another friend. (intended pun)
Clear Seafood Tom Yam (RM30)
Nobody dares to take the spiciest Tom Yam so we just opt for a spicy rating No.2. There's a generous serving of seafood (squids and prawns) and mushrooms. The prawns are big and succulent and I'm happy that they actually use really fresh prawns here.
You can really see the wonderful green colour of the asparagus and the big and juicy prawns in this dish. Well, there's only 3 prawns and it's just enough for the 3 of us! While the asparagus is crunchy and cooked just right, the downside is that the asparagus is a little too old.
Jessica and I go all the way back since kindergarten where we very often beat up the guys at school and then we ended up in the same class in primary and then still the same school in secondary. But who would have guessed that we went to the same college as well?!! So, technically, she's my longest gf. All of us had a satisfied meal here. I can't wait for the next round and I'll be on my way to have tasted everything on the menu! You can read the 1st part here.
