Bloody Idiot at Genting Highlands

In case you're wondering what's with the title today, just read on and see what happened to me yesterday. I've not been writing for the past one week, which seemed to be odd to me as I've never not written for more than 7 days. Some of the posts that I written on last Sunday throughout Tuesday are the ones I've pre-written before I went on a holiday in Singapore.

After I returned from the republic, I had to attend to my cousin's wedding on Merdeka Day as a "chi mui" or bridesmaid making sure that the bridegroom and his buddies get hell from me before he can see my cousin, and then my parents wanted to go back to Ipoh and I was the chauffeur for the entire trip including yesterday's impromptu trip up to Genting Highlands for a round of casino game!

Dad haven't been to Genting for quite sometime and yesterday I drove him and my sister up to "practically contribute to Uncle Lim's bank account" and which I did! I lost a total of RM250 but at least it's worth the 8 hours there! What I did realise was that I don't need to eat or drink when I gambled... I guess I've found a new way of dieting, so to speak.

I started with what I played best - Roulette. It was fun as I had a favourite number in mind - 27. It was such a coincidence that the table I chose to play had the number 27 coming out a few times. Every bet was RM10 and although I did win some money, losing them was pretty fast too. There was one game when I won RM10 by betting on the Red and my dad wants to talk to me. As soon as I turned my head to the table to collect my winnings, my chips are gone! The bloody idiot took my winnings plus my bet and walked away and I can't find him. Maybe it was my unlucky day after all.

I curse that bloody idiot who ran away with my winnings. May he loose till his pants drop! And then, make sure he walked down Genting Highlands because he doesn't have money for cab!

Playing the Casino War made me loose quite a bit as it is a fast game and pretty brainless game too. It's where the banker holds one card and the player hold another - whichever holds the bigger card wins! Every bet was RM50!! Then I stopped at the Big Small table betting on the dice and from 1 RM25 chip, I was up again by RM150. Of course I was greedy and then while waiting for Dad, I lost everything back to Genting again!

I realise that it was really a stressful activity betting at the Casino. I could feel my brain working so hard to study the probability and then you have your heart beating so fast when you see them spinning the ball at the Roulette table. I could almost suffer a heart attack at the casino. However, my Dad was very cool. He told me that don't go to a Casino thinking to win money, just go there and have fun! maybe because of that, he managed to win a couple of hundreds and my sister and I ended up loosing.

If you don't like smoking at the gaming rooms, head on to the Monte Carlo room at the Casino de Genting at the Genting Highlands Hotel. I prefer that to the casino at First World Hotel as it is less crowded and rowdy. At least I don't come out of it smelling like a walking cigarette butt!
