I think I always have bad experiences with low cost airlines. Why do you have to do this to me? It's bad enough having 5 flights out of 6 delayed by Air Asia in a month and now when I'm in Melbourne, Tiger Airways had to cancel my goddam flight!
My flight was scheduled to depart from T4 at Melbourne Airport at 10.55am and when I reached the check in counter, they told me the flight was cancelled. "Didn't you receive the email?" "what email?!!"
Apparently, not only me whom did not received this so called email, everyone else was the same. And the worse thing was, they can't even put me on the next flight to Sydney at 12.20noon saying it was over-booked. Either I take a refund (AUD55) or take the 3.35pm flight. I had no choice but to take the 3.35pm flight, resulting in me stranded at the airport for 6 hours. It's so difficult to pass time when you're traveling alone and there's nothing in that airport except a small counter selling drinks and food. Thus, I had a sandwich and a cappucino. I can't believe that this Tiger Airways did this to me and there were no compensation, nothing at all!
I wasted half a day at the airport and nearly finished the whole novel. And I missed the trip to Wollongong at Sydney! I curse you Tiger and I will never take Tiger Airways again if I have a choice!
