I'm not hiding for the past one week that I did not post anything. I was just too busy and too tired.
Not a very interesting title isn't it? Well, same goes for my training/conference on Saturday. It was already bore to work on 3 Saturdays a week and now I have to sacrifice my whole Saturday for this! When others have adopted a 5 days week, we are still stuck to working Saturdays and the only 1 Saturday we are given an off day, we have to make up the hours by working an additional 1 hour a day for the first week every month. Sounds confusing right? Don't bother. As long as you work more than the official hours, you're safe.
I've always looked forward to trainings or talks because I was deprived of it from the previous company. However, after getting a taste of it now, I dread going for anymore of it. Maybe it's just how my company conducts it and not because the generalisation of all trainings are boring. Well, if it's boring also nevermind, because we can always look forward to break time or meal time. The meal sucked big time. The 5 meals I had during the whole day was the worst day of my life! I've never had such bad food for the entire day which includes 3 main meals!!! What do you expect with a budget of RM10 per person for 5 meals right. I'd say, if you'd give me roti canai, it's good enough.
I have friends working in IBM and other companies and I've heard of how their company conducted the training. It's just so different. I think if someone were to leave IBM and join me, his or her expression on Saturday would be beyond description. I'm not here to make an insult but I honestly think that there should be more effort by the management in organising such trainings. The objective was to motivate the staff and IMHO how are you going to motivate anyone starting with bad food, not-so-interesting trainer and not-so-nice venue?!!! The only thing they are motivating, is definitely the hotel. They get out money after all don't they?
Okay, enough with the training. I know most of my colleagues are reading my blog so if they or want to report it, it's fine with me. After all, I dare to say what I think and I'm not some pretenders in which we call "Poyo" (in BM pasar). Poyos are really annoying. They're usually the apple polishers and someone who would always be prepared to be loyal and "die" for the company and I despice them. How about the idea of taking an oath to be loyal to the company? I better not comment. Sensitive issue.
Sometimes I wonder why is it so difficult to make people understand that loyalty has to be earned just like respect. Force won't do it. Now what do you think about Anwar's sodomy charges? Would he be able to force Saiful do it? Or both of them actually has each other's consent to do it in the first place? If it's by force, why wouldn't he make a report straight after the incident and waited for a few days before doing it?!! Attention seekers and dirty politics. What more can I say?
