I'm a person whom never stay with one hairstyle that is long enough for 365 days to whiz past. In fact over the years, I have been changing my hairstyle so often that my hair is getting shorter and shorter each day. It was indeed a funny thing that when I was a kid, mum would never allow me to have long hair as she claimed that I would be spending too much time combing and tying my hair and I would finish her shampoo very fast. Therefore, I have never had long hair until I was in Form 3. Only then I was allowed to have long hair and I of course was so delighted about her lifting the ban on the long hair. I had then left it uncut for more than 2 years. It grew until it past my shoulders and it was able to cover my uh-hum....
When I entered college, I still had my long hair but not for long. I had it cut until it just barely touched my shoulders. After a while, it grew back and I had it cut even much shorter. After that, the longest hair length I ever had barely touch my shoulders.

My past hairstyles
Not only I try to vary my hairstyles, I try to have different highlights too. I don't really like to dye my hair but I guess highlights just bring out certain hairstyles. I've always been on the safe side only trying on light brown and gold highlights fearing that my bosses will not be able to take it if I went into the office with a red head or worse pink hair!
With my hairstyle now, not much I can do except to choose to let my hair loose or tuck them neatly behind my ears. Then there were some noob hairstyle I did like the picture in the middle where I try to hold them to one side using some wax like the 60s style. I really looked like a noob la!! If i add the glasses, I'll look like a geek - confirm! The first hairstyle was not practical because it only leaves me with one eyesight instead of two which means the left eye will always be under-utilised! The last one looked ok and it has been my hairstyle occasionally.

This is what I'll do when I attend a function. It looks much nicer after using some wax to hold up the hair so that the bangs wouldn't cover my eyes. It's a bit reddish now because my new hairstylist (whom used to be a consultant at Schwartzkopf) had used 3 colour tones for this hairstyle. The best thing is - she never even asked whether I'll like the colours and she just blob them onto my hair! but lucky she did a pretty good job - not too boring and not too attention grabbing as well.
As for my next hairstyle experiment, I want to go really short on the left side and keep my right side bangs. The best example to follow will of course be - Rihanna!!!

I really love the feeling of growing my hair to a certain length and then cut it real short. The feeling is really indescribable and after the haircut, you head will feel much lighter and it's a good feeling isn't it?!!
