At the office...Moving on to 26. Can't believe that in a blink of an eye (literally), I've left the first quarter of a century and now entering the 2nd quarter as of today. I've been a little paranoid since these few years as I can see the numbers catching up very fast with me. Much faster than what I thought it would be.
When I'm 20, I can't wait to turn 21 - the legal age for everything under the sun! But now, I wished I could turn back time and still be in college and enjoy the lives of a student without worrying about work and money. It was quite a nice day for me as someone unexpected showed up and took me out for lunch, colleagues celebrating for me at the office with a nice chocolate with orange peel cake and then followed by a nice simple dinner. Initially my colleagues want to give me a surprise but I walked to the toilet at the wrong time and discovered Wei Mei lighting the candles! Ah ha....
I don't really celebrate my birthdays as I don't think there's anything to celebrate about especially the fact that I'm no longer the age I want to be. It seems like I've not really achieved that much for the past 25 years. Probably this year I have to make it worthwhile and memorable! Shall I start with more partying and more relaxation holidays? Hmm....
However, it was a nice surprise as I received quite a number of wishes today, almost to a hundred and I really appreciate that you guys remembered my birthday! Thanks peeps. If only I could live on Neverland....
