I thought the "date from hell" happens only in the movies.
Sadly, it wasn't. It was real! I've had such a terrible date that I think I will abstain from that for now until I've fully recovered from a traumatic experience. I think I should share with everyone my definition of a date from hell.
First of all, he wouldn't tell me where the restaurant is and kept on insisting he drives me there. He came in a freaking expensive car and took me to a glitzy hotel for dinner. But... we ended up eating at the coffee house! Lol....
1. He kept on blabbering about his cars. He has many expensive cars and is also thinking of getting a P*****e (sports car, go figure) and asked me if I would like to go choose the colour with him. Ask me if I cared. FAILED!
2. He kept going on and on about his attire which happens to be an expensive brand. He wore the same brand from head to toe. And if that's bad enough, he even told me he just bought a suit from the same brand for RM**** and how good he'll look in that suit. I almost PUKED!
3. He kept on telling me about his maturity, intelligence, attentiveness, wide network and all the shit when I've actually heard that almost for the tenth time inclusive of those through the telephone conversation. FAILED!
4. Then, he dictates what I should wear and what not! Who he thinks he is tell me that?!! And he wanted to take me go shopping for clothes. FAILED!
5. Then, he tell me that I should be his gf! Hellooooo, only 2 dinners and I be your gf?!! Are you dreaming or am I? HELL NO!
Ooohs... and he has been very impatient ie. at the jockeys, waiters and waitresses.
Actually, those were just the highlights of the evening. There's more to it than just some cheesy, almost-vomiting-lines that a 25 year old like me would never believed. Who's so naive to believe that there's love at first sight (is there even one?)? And funny, I was not even moved when he told me he wants to buy me a diamond. Sometimes I think these men need to be taught a lesson. Don't think money can solve all problems (although most of it can) and don't think you can always get what you want. There's no short cut in life.
I'm sure if a relationship is solely based on money, it will not last. Relationship is built on a foundation of love, trust and commitment.
My solution, I conclude that this man is no good for me. I stop picking up his calls and pretended to be sick the next day. I'm happy to know that my nightmare is over. I totally hate people who do not respect me.
