My collection of self expression...

It was a wonderful Saturday. I started my day having an early appointment of body scrub and massage which I treated myself once in a while. Then, I called my gf out to have lunch and shop around at Bangsar Village. It's afterall one of my favourite hang out place due to the choice of eating outlets here.

While walking up the escalator, I told her that I have to go into this shop - Cuffz. It revived quite a few memories, dated back to my second job with Fidani. At that time, Cuffz only had 2 boutiques and the owner and staff managed to change my perception towards cufflinks. I thought it was a "guy accessories" but it turned out that women can wear them too and look extremely stylish. And from that moment onwards, I was collecting cufflinks!

My sisters too got into the frenzy and we started buying cufflinks and shirts to match our new found accessories. I think I have about 10 pairs in total now but all of them are quite formal designs.

I was really tempted to get one of those quirky cufflinks which is also a novelty item.

I bet no one knew these duckies are actually cufflinks. Don't they look cute?!!

These are for those whom can't live without coffee!

One particular boutique that I go to is Cuffz because of their variety and wide selection of cufflinks which exceeds 3000 designs?!! I'm sure everyone whom walked into the boutique will find something they like. I really liked the new cufflinks which they featured at the counter for Xmas and the prices are reasonable too as they start from RM139 and semi precious stones cufflinks would be more expensive. Eric, one of the partners of Cuffz was very friendly. He showed me the most expensive pair he had at the shop at a whopping RM1888! What a lucky number. Haha...

Merkaine insisted that I take a picture of her with the angry birds cufflinks!

But I fell in love with the led cufflinks that emits light when you press the switch.

Both of us can't help but oohed and aahed at all the cufflinks. I wished that I have lots of money to buy all the cute cufflinks that I have eyed upon. Back to reality, Eiling! I can only afford one and I knew what I wanted! To me cufflinks are more than an accessory, it's a form of self-expression. The kind of cufflinks you wear can sometimes tell what type of person you are!

I wonder what will people say when I wear those duckies to work? Hehe...

And of course they have more than cufflinks. They carry shirts, vests, ties and also belts. As for something special, they have collar pins, shirt studs, tie pins and button covers. I think it's quite easy to buy a gift here if you are looking for one for the guys. You can't possibly go wrong with these acessories. I was also looking at the ladies' shirts which have sleeves catered for cufflinks. Wow, can't believe their variety has increased from the time I first started patronising Cuffz.

So do hop over to Cuffz this Xmas to check out the accessories. It's so nice to meet Eric again as they have been so busy expanding that I haven't seen them for more than a year! Last I heard, they will be bringing the store overseas! That's great news. And for this, I wished them success. And, thanks for allowing me to take all these pictures!
