What a week!

I know I've kinda been MIA for a few days. It doesn't look like me, sound like me or act like me (to be not updating the blog for days!). Oh, anyways, to cut the short story even shorter still, it had been an eventful week right up to yesterday! Phew...

On Friday night, I had a dinner invitation at Chynna@Hilton KL and then followed by a partying session at Zeta Bar till early morning! Then, the next day, I had to go to work and stayed on for a meeting till 3-4pm on a Saturday!! I was so exhausted after that and I slept early on a Saturday night at 10pm and forgot to wake up on time the next day for my lunch appointment with my college friends. I woke up at 11am only to realise that I was supposed to pick Hue Gee up at 11.30am and so I called her to tell her I'm late.

Nevertheless, I still manage to make it on time for the lunch that I organised at Madam Kwan's in KLCC. Nanang, our dear friend from Indonesia is in KL with his mom for 2 days for a conference and so we decided that we had to meet up after almost 5 years.

Nanang, the high achiever!
He has got his multiple degree and masters. Don't play play...

It was indeed a very nice reunion although there were some members who can't make it. So it was just Gee, Hoong & me. It used to be a gang of 8 but now reduced to a mere 4-5 members due to some missing members and some workaholics working on a Sunday... you know who you were *wink*

Playing with the Pumpkin

After the lunch, Nanang took his mom to Pavilion whereas the girls went for some serious shopping endeavours in KLCC. First stop was Hermes. We were there to get a belt but then they do not have the one we wanted and so we left the shop empty handed *sad* Then, we went posing with the pumpkin in front of the Alice in Wonderland publicity set up beside Hugo Boss. Hoong then have to leave us for someone else! Hmmph...

It was already about 4pm and dinner was a few hours away and so I decided to take Hue Gee to my favourite hang out place at Skybar@Traders Hotel. Yeah, I like hanging out there on a late afternoon and evening. It was her first time there in daylight and she bought my crazy idea and agreed to chill there while waiting for our dinner appointment at 7pm.

An artistic shot I did...

We didn't feel like having anything alcoholic (seriously I have been drinking in a row for days) and thus we had some nice mocktails. I had a sour orange and she had a serai collins. We both find it nice to chill at Skybar because you get a nice view of KLCC and a very relaxing atmosphere beside the pool.

my standard *don't-give-a-shit* look

Gee and the colourful mocktails

State of bliss....

Yummy brownie with ice-cream on a hot day!

After chilling enough, we went over to Pavilion and have our dinner with my dear friend at Grand Palace. The dinner has not even started and we are making another dinner date on Monday night where dining companions promised me to open a bottle of Macallan 30 years old. Oh that's all for today and even writing this post makes me intoxicated.
