Where is the LOVE?

My days are not the same anymore,
It's something I've never felt before.

The feeling is so new and pure,
It's something I still need to explore.

Like droplets of rain I showered my love,
Until later it started to pour,
No one can stop the thunder and lightning,
That accompanied the heavy fall.

After it rained,
The grey skies cleared and the rainbow appeared,
Stretching wide across the clear blue sky,
And at the end plenty of my love you will find!

It's always sweet and melodious at every beginning of a relationship. But as you go on, you'll find hairline cracks which will eventually become a permanent crack if nothing is done to repair it. It's just like a relationship that needs constant maintenance and a new coat of paint to protect it from the harsh weather. The thunder and lightning are the obstacles that my relationship have to endure before one can truly understand me completely. No pain no gain as they always say. Love doesn't have to be painful, it's supposed to be a wonderful feeling.

However, for me, love comes in many ways and I have gone through good times and bad times. Some good times can be when they're more than a few people loving you and bad times when the one you're loving is not loving you anymore (just kidding). Good times are when you're having fun together and bad times are when you feel that there's something about the relationship that isn't right but you just can't seem to put them into words. At the time I wrote this (years ago), I was definitely having a good time and was deeply in love. So let's celebrate the wonders of love. Something you do not necessary need but can't live without either!
