Happy Mid Autumn Festival

Well, the Mid Autumn Festival 2008 is here and today, many of you will be having at least a slice of mooncake to celebrate the occassion. Maybe some will even be eating mooncake for the 3 meals of the day due to over-supply of mooncake from others. While many of you have seen the normal traditional types of mooncake, there were in fact new mooncakes being created every year in terms of new flavors and colours.

Just like these delectable Mooncakes with a modern twist from Evan's Kitchen Ramblings. Sorry it's in Singapore....

Rainbow Soda Mooncake & Dessicated Coconut and Glazed Cherries Mooncake

Ok, maybe that was just being creative on colours and tastes, but how about shapes? They were Hello Kitty Mooncakes and Doraemon Mooncakes but how about this particular shape of a human's derriè? A rounded full bottom is always sexy, but how about eating a buttock mooncake?!!

What a funny name for a Mooncake!

The reason behind the creation was due to the "bum" is always referred as a "moon" in chinese sayings. There are even 4 designs to choose from! It's a creation from GOD (Goods of Desire) in Hong Kong. LOL I wonder who desired a bum mooncake?!!

My only concern, is the bum clean?

In an unrelated note, I was glad that Reporter Tan Hoon Cheng from Sin Chew Daily has been released and she can now be reunited with the family for mid autumn festival. But that doesn't mean that I'm happy with the Home Minister's excuse of arresting her for her own safety! What safety? The only threat there has been was the government. I totally disagree the arresting of journalists and reporter for direct reporting and telling the truth. Recently the PM has just told the public that he encourages the journalist to report the truth and now Tan is arrested under ISA Section 73(1).

The person whom should be under arrest is none other than that Bukit Bendera bugger Ah Mad Is Mail for making such racist remarks! What kind of justice is this? Raja Petra and Teresa Kok was arrested under ISA which was deemed unfair. If they had committed any offences they should be put to trial. Why only free Tan and not the other two? This country is really full of craps. That's why, never ever trust the main stream medias.

Another unrelated-really-unrelated note, I attended a wedding dinner last night at Sheraton Subang. What was so special about the wedding is that I attended it without knowing personally the bride, bridegroom or even anybody there! No I did not gate crash some weddings and pretended that I was a guest and eat for free. In fact I was invited by my ex-colleague and her mom whom is a good friend of the bridegroom's father. Well, there's always a first for everything. It was a wonderful wedding of Christopher Lim and Pearly Lim whom had been dating for the past 11 years.

The dinner was graced by 700 guests, all dressed to kill in their tuxedos and evening gowns. There was even a facade with the couple's name for people to camwhore. It was a night of free flow of beer, stout, red and white wine. Their wedding was lavish yet unpretentious where the slide show was mainly about the couple with their best friends (no showing off of wedding pictures and family members on overseas trip). Their siblings and friends made toasts to the newlywed and I must say that their toasts are the most interesting ones I've ever heard. Even during the "yam seng" sessions, the couple was accompanied by their entourage of almost 20 friends from table to table. The live band minus the drummer was great.

I enjoyed myself that very night because I met two wonderful sisters whom are the couple's neighbour and the food was great. Maybe a little bit too great because I had to go visit the toilet yesterday night, this early morning and a few hours after that! I think I had a diarrhea...Ouch
