Ok, this might sound a bit absurd that less than 2 months through the year, I am now having my 2nd vacation. Perhaps I should consider having one vacation every month. I guess what would my boss think of me when he reads this?!!
Anyways, by the time you read this, I am in a faraway land - one place where no chinese would think of spending their precious-once-in-a-year reunion with family. I am in a place practically where no one would celebrate this festivity and yes, I am in Colombo in Sri Lanka. Don't ask me what I am doing there but I will have a valid reason in my next post, so stay tuned!
I will definitely miss the Chinese New Year atmosphere and not forgetting the "ang pow" collection. Imagine my loss this year having to forgo the "lucrative money collection" and my birthday that falls on the eve of CNY. Looks like I will be celebrating these both occassions here in Colombo.
