In a creative move to create buzz and anticipation amongst the Klang Valley community, a friend of mine launched a new group-buy website ORANGE DEAL and proceeded to painting the town orange last weekend with roving girls dressed in orange, rollerblading and distributing juicy oranges to unsuspecting pedestrians on the streets.
So what is this Orange Deal?
To be launched on Dec 5 at Empire Gallery Mall (2pm at Level 2, LeX), it is the latest "deal a day" site that uses the power of group buying or buying in bulk to get unbeatable deals on the best stuff to do in the Klang Valley. Orange Deal’s mission is to consistently provide Malaysians with unbeatable deals at 50 – 90% below normal price.
As part of its “How Orange Are You?” campaign, the “Orange Girls” gave out over 5,000 oranges and invitations around the streets of Subang Jaya to attend THE ORANGE DEAL CHALLENGE happening on December 5, 2010, at LeX in Empire Gallery Shopping, starting 2pm.
With an intriguing “What’s in the Box?” teaser, the Orange Girls challenged people on the streets to show up during the Dec 5 event dressed as orange as they can for a chance to grab deals worth more than RM 6,000 including cash. The dare was “The more orange you are, the better chance for you to walk home with cold hard cash!”
These bubbly Orange Girls sure attracted a lot of attention with their bright coloured costumes, orange Afro hair and cheeky antics.
To celebrate Orange Deal’s official launch this Sunday, they will be giving out CASH & PRIZES worth RM6,000!! Come dressed in Orange to get a chance to win the cash & prizes.
