FJ Benjamin Sales

Yoohoo.... I've got a VIP invitation to the recent FJ Benjamin Branded Sale which is a preview sale for family and friends on the 1st May 2008. Those who wanted to go on the 2nd will have to be HSBC credit card holders and 3rd and 4th May is opened to the public. The best thing is HSBC credit card members get to have an additional 10% discount on the first 2 days! Not telling you how I got the invitations because the person who gave it to me asked me to keep it to myself.

So, thinking that I was one of the VIP, it must be an exclusive day for us to shop at our own sweet time but I was wrong. I arrived at 10am sharp at Bangsar Village, 3rd floor and I have to line up until the end of the other side!

See, these people are so crazy! Wake up so early hor on Labour's Day just to shop! Don't you (me) have nothing to do on a public holiday than to shop and spend our hard earn money here?!!

But then again, who can resist a FJ Benjamin sale? It carries brands such as Guess, GC, Banana Republic, Gap, Gap Kids, Raoul, La Senza, Celine, Paint8 and Nautica. I wanted to buy a Celine bag but to my disappointment, Celine will not be participating. Potong stim betul!

Some things were cheap like my favourite section - The La Senza Lingerie Department! Usually 1 panty will cost you sometime between RM19-25 and here, it's 10 for RM45 leh! It's cheaper than the Jusco panties...LOL People are really crazy here, they grabbed more than 10 pieces of thongs and g-strings and many many bras - enough to last them for 3 years!

Like this woman here, grabbing all the Guess bags she can hold on to from luggages to handbags. I honestly think Guess handbags are ugly, no offense to those who like them but it's just not my cup of tea. However, the luggage bag is quite cheap though at RM200 each but they are all snapped up even before I entered. I had a feeling this lady is putting up her shopping at ebay or www.lelong.com.my Don't you think so?

The rule of survival here is to grab everything you like at first sight into the plastic bags and then later sit at a corner or while waiting in line to pay, then you start taking out each item to see whether you want it or not. At this time, you can start eliminating those that you don't want and keep those that you want and pay at the cashier counter. Yeah that's exactly what I did! If not for that, I would have spent more than RM500 that day. However, I returned again on the last day of the sales and spent another RM500. RM1000 gone in FJ Benjamin Sale in 4 days!

Here are SOME of the things I bought:

A pair of Guess pumps for RM90 and 2 pairs for RM150. I shared the offer with my youngest sis because I have bought 1 pair of Aldo and 1 pair of Vincci earlier.

A top from Banana Republic at RM80.

La Senza Pajamas at RM70 for 2 sets.

Green with envy?

My La Senza black bra at RM30 and G-string at RM10.

La Senza black garter at RM10!!! I would love to wear it and show you but if I do, then this blog will be X-rated! LOL

Actually besides all these pictures here, I still haven't show the OTHER stuff I bought like a red Guess watch, a beige garter, a white garter, a blue babydoll nightie, a set of pink nightie, a black satin robe, a Raoul black skirt, 2 Raoul white tops and a Banana Republic black tube.

Sales is actually not a really bad thing because a smart shopper only shop during sales. I saved more than RM1000 for my overall purchases but then again, if I didn't go to Bangsar Village, I would have saved RM1000 as well! However, I haven't start regretting until my credit card bill comes!
