The Big-O Rating

Was having lunch with an old friend of mine at The Curve today. As I was about to leave the place, a strong aroma of the Big-O suddenly possessed my body and automatically I started walking into the opposite direction into the walkway between TGI's and The Apartment. The Big-O that I was talking about has nothing to do with the Body Odour but the fresh smell of doughnuts from The Big Apple. I bought half a dozen this time and this is my 3rd time here.

If I were to rate The Big Apple Doughnuts, I would give it a 2nd rank of the doughnuts that I have tried before excluding those from bakeries. The number One doughnut that I think very much deserved to be the king of all doughnuts would be KRISPYKREME. Just a bite of KrispyKreme original glazed will send you to heaven. And I am telling you the truth. The nearest outlet is Jakarta and how could KL not have KrispyKreme?!! I have my first bite of it when I was in London and it costs 1 pound each! I don't think anyone here would actually pay RM7.00 for a doughnut! Maybe that's also one of the reasons when they do not have an outlet here. According to KrispyKreme, to start a franchise in any country, you'll have to open at least 10 outlets with a net worth of $1,000,000 each outlet or total of $30,000,000, whichever is greater. So crazy! Which rich man would fork out $30,000,000 to run a doughnut business?!!!
